Jazim Sharma began his musical journey at the age of five under the guidance of Late Shri Guru Vijay Sachdeva. At his father’s request, the academy was shifted to their home, allowing Jazim to immerse himself completely in riyaaz. After school each day, he practiced relentlessly from 5 PM till midnight, building the foundation of a lifelong discipline.
Jazim’s breakthrough came in 2012 with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, where he earned the historic title Shehzada-e-Ghazal, becoming the first ghazal singer to reach the finale. His Bollywood debut followed in 2014 with Kya Hoga from Dedh Ishqiya, and later, two widely loved tracks, Grey Walaa Shade and Chonch Ladhiyaan, from Manmarziyaan.
A defining artistic milestone was recording the final official album of legendary poet Nida Fazli, who personally mentored Jazim throughout the project. During the pandemic, Jazim composed Guzar Jayega, a powerful message of resilience featuring Amitabh Bachchan alongside 49 artists, uniting voices across the nation in a time of global uncertainty.
